Strip out and demolition works at 160 Old Street (previously 148) are well under way and main contractor Wates has now started on site working alongside demolition contractor Cantillon.
The works have revealed dramatic internal volumes, particularly at the lower levels of the building. Our design takes these former ancillary spaces (car parking, back of house etc.) and transforms them into dynamic, informal, flexible and collaborative office spaces, with access and views out onto newly created courtyards and light wells.
The project for Great Portland Estates is due to complete in late 2017.
