We have created the new identity for a grade II listed cluster of buildings situated around a landscaped courtyard on Edmund Street, Birmingham.
The name Edmund Gardens was created as an umbrella brand to group the various buildings. The eg monogram logo evolved from a pencil sketch into it’s final form via an adapted stencil typeface.
This in turn provided the main font which rolled out across all touch points: backlit flag signs, wayfinding, manifestation and back of house signage.
The lavish material palette, joinery techniques and attention to detail on this project, from blackened steel to end grain plywoods, combined with the carefully crafted new branding give a high end feel with individual character in each of the four buildings.
