Orms held a drawing prize competition in December 2015, a minimum of one drawing per person was required, it was to be drawn within the last year and could be a life drawing, hand sketch, CAD drawing or any other drawing that the artist was proud of.
The number of entries was impressive – 58 – and the quality was high.
The judges debated long and hard to select winners, their first attempt at a short list still had 22 entries! There were a number of categories and prizes:
• Non-Architect award winner: Lena Howitt
• Special mention: Valentina Aurova
• Runners up: Jared Williams,
Rosemary Bard
& Samantha Bracey
• Overall winner: Rachel Carmody
