Janice joined Orms in 2008 and was appointed associate director in 2012, leading the financial aspects of the practice.
Before joining Orms, Janice was finance manager at DEGW for eight years. This, coupled with a broad range of previous experience encompassing architecture, advertising, fashion, beverages and property, means that her expertise is of significant value to the financial success of the practice.
She says, “My background in the construction industry has given me a strong insight into financial management within the professional services. A thorough understanding of the fee-earning – and design – process is essential if non-architectural staff are to contribute effectively to a practice’s ongoing success.”
Janice has also worked with charitable organisations, sitting on a number of committees managing hostel and outreach facilities for the homeless and substance abusers.
