What does ultrapractical mean to you? My dual qualification as both an architect and structural engineer gives me a unique perspective on the integration of design intent and technical feasibility. At Orms, I apply this interdisciplinary approach as Project Associate on 22-24 Southwark Bridge Road and 75 London Wall—refurbishment and extension projects of Central London buildings for office-led mixed-use developments with associated public realm improvements. To me, being ultrapractical means transcending traditional disciplinary boundaries to find solutions that are aesthetically compelling, structurally sound and environmentally responsible. This holistic approach allows me to anticipate challenges across disciplines and develop integrated responses that enhance both the design quality and deliverability of our projects.
